April Public Mindfulness Day

NOURISH BODY MIND AND HEART in the gentle atmosphere of community, a retreat in a day can sustain us for the month and beyond


Dharma Gaia Community of Mindful Living welcomes you to join us for our monthly public day of practice. 

The community, the garden, peaceful contemplation and a light schedule all support you to settle deeply into a deep and refreshing energy.

You can join for just the morning sessions or stay for the whole day. 

The schedule will include:

6.30 am -  Silent sitting meditation (please arrive and be settled a few minutes before this)

7.15 -  Breakfast (also offered in silence)  followed by spacious time to rest, read, and simply be in nature.

10am - second sitting session (please arrive by 9.50)  there will be a short  break after the sitting

10.45am -  We gather under the Gratitude Bell to enjoy the deep practice of Community walking meditation in nature.

11.15 -  Contemplative Presence - Chanting, Dharma Talk/ Inquiry session 

12.30 - Lunch

2.00pm - Afternoon offering - Deep Relaxation or Dharma Sharing

3.00pm - Closing 

If you will attend for lunch, we would appreciate a booking so that we know how many to cater for.

GENEROSITY IN SPIRIT AND PRACTICE: The Sunday Mindfulness Day is offered in the context of reciprocity and generosity. There is no set charge as we invite you to offer dana in gratitude.
