We invite you to retreat from the daily pressures and news cycles to soak in a natural and wondrous environment. Spring is here… colourful blossoms and birdsong are a few of the countless ways our precious earth offers her presence, peace and beauty. The question is, are we awake and available for this nourishment, or are we lost in worry, anxiety, fear and despair or simply too busy...running through life.

During this long weekend Retreat, we will have the opportunity to learn and practice the art of Opening to Wonder through Presence and Curiosity. Spacious sessions of mindful yoga, deep relaxation, sitting, walking and eating meditation, karma yoga and Dharma talks will support us to rest and enjoy our wonderful body, heart, mind, being with each other and nature.

About the Teachers:

Anton is a student of Thich Nhat Hanh and Sister Shalom. Since receiving the lamp from Thich Nhat Hanh in 2014, Anton has offered teaching and support, drawing on his long term practice and life experience. A founding guardian of Dharma Gaia, parent and enthusiastic gardener, Anton is deeply inspired to share this path of mindfulness practice in ways that are easily applied in daily life. Anton enjoys continuing to transform and grow his happiness with others.

Caitlin is a member of the Order of Interbeing and received the Lamp (Permission to Teach) in 2018. She became a student of the Venerable Thich Nhat Hanh in 1998, when a friend invited her to join a sangha (community of mindfulness practice) in Edinburgh, Scotland. Caitlin enjoys offering a wide range of practices, including Dharma sharing and deep relaxation. Caitlin’s interests include facilitation, communication and socially engaged practice.

Mindfulness is at the heart of Brendon's yoga practice and teaching and he believes the purpose of yoga is to cultivate awareness and embodied presence so that we may flow through our life with more lightness and ease.  Brendon has experience teaching yoga on retreats, workshops, yoga teacher training courses, palliative care and in prison and he is also a registered social worker.   Brendon will offer a mix of Hatha Yoga, Vinyasa Flow, Restorative Yoga and Pranayama (breathwork) for developing vitality, balance and flexibility. He will also share Yoga Nidra (deep relaxation) to harmonise body, mind and emotions.

The classes will be taught at a level suitable for all.

Please email Dharma Gaia if you have any questions about this retreat.
